SWINK READS is designed to support educators in all things literacy. Reading specialists, literacy coaches and teachers are provided with ideas on best instructional practices, tips for supporting teachers through coaching and inspirational work around equity. SWINK READS is run by Sara, a renowned Educator in her field of study. She is recognized for her commitment to teaching and her ability to support educators in their instructional journeys.

Dedicated to Learning & Teaching
Sara always knew that she was destined for a career in education. As an elementary educator she was always able to create lessons that were engaging, interesting and thought-provoking for her elementary students. A certified reading specialist and special educator, Sara's 16 years of experience in education have brought her so much joy and love for teaching young children. Currently Sara works as a busy literacy coach in her school district in Baltimore, Maryland. She balances her love of literacy with her true love-inspiring teachers to take risks and try new instructional strategies to meet the needs of students. Sara ensures that her instructional modeling and collaborative discussions with educators support equity of all students. Sara lives with her husband and two daughters in Maryland.
